The publication for Tempelhof Projekt GmbH and Torhaus e.V. presents the sustainable renovation of the Torhaus and the shared goals behind it. It explains the intentions of the refurbishment, the collaboration between the two organizations, and guides readers step by step through all architectural measures that shaped the transformation.
I led the layout and the overall graphic concept in collaboration with urban catalyst GmbH, and I created the illustrations together with Tomma Suki from Torhaus e.V., bringing together both our visual approaches.
The brochure consists of two connected parts. The first centers on the story of the collaboration and has a warm, playful character, supported by soft, sketch‑like illustrations. The second is produced as a longer glossy booklet featuring a striking neon‑orange color. Its visuals are more technical, vector‑based, and abstract, reflecting the structure and logic of the renovation while still remaining expressive. Together, both parts convey the Torhaus as a place shaped by sustainable design, community, and a clear visual narrative.
